Fire Laboratory of the Barcelona School of Building (EPSEB)

The Fire Laboratory is located at the Escola Politècnica Superior de l’Edificació de Barcelona (EPSEB). The laboratory specializes in the characterization of the thermal and fire behavior of materials.

The laboratory has equipment for measuring thermal properties, such as the conductivity and thermal diffusivity of various types of materials, as well as equipment for analyzing the reaction to fire of materials. It also has an accelerated aging chamber to evaluate the durability of different types of materials.
