The Virtual Innovation Laboratory for Modeling Architecture and the City (VIMAC)

The Virtual Innovation Laboratory for Modeling Architecture and the City (VIMAC) is a technological benchmark at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). It benefits from the most advanced technology and methodologies to carry out technological innovation projects in the following areas: Architecture, Heritage and Urbanism, using digital systems of: Geo information, Digital Cartography, Terrestrial Laser Scanner, Studies and Photogrammetry. It is aimed at the development of maps, plans, 3D models and interactive applications, based on the processing of georeferenced parameterized information that allows the visualization of different historical, heritage, architectural and urban elements.
