Metrology Laboratory of the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB)

The ETSEIB Metrology Laboratory specializes in the determination of surface roughness (2D and 3D), shape errors and dimensional errors of parts. It has several contact and optical equipment for the realization of the different measures, with controlled ambiental temperature. The floor of the laboratory is insulated from the walls and the rest of the floor plant, so that the effect of possible vibrations on the measurements.

The laboratory collaborates with the research tasks of the TECNOFAB group in Manufacturing Technologies, as well as with different companies.
