Joint Mechanical Engineering Laboratory (LCEM)

Since its creation in 1993, the Joint Laboratory of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering (LCEM) has been a transversal service unit of the UPC, which belongs to the industrial sector of mechanization and to the complementary and auxiliary sectors of engineering, electricity. , electronics and boilermaking, and which mainly provides support and advice in these areas to the entire university community.

This is a service necessary for the technical content of the community itself, and is based in Pavilion G, Floor -1, of the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB).

Since its inception, the LCEM has carried out an intense activity of design and manufacture of technological objects intended to support teaching and research, mainly from the UPC, but also to other cultural and scientific institutions of the European Union. and from all over the world.
