CIEFMA is a consolidated research group of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) that aims to develop research, development and technology transfer activities in the fields of structural integrity, micromechanics and the reliability of application materials in engineering, as well as the implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies in order to optimize the microstructural design and / or the functionality of specific materials.
